No witnesses to early morning shooting

            Police are investigating after a reported shooting in Battle Creek, but have been unable to find any witnesses. The 28-year old victim says he was shot twice in the right leg after refusing a demand by two men to hand over his money. The incident was reported at about 2AM Sunday near Michigan Avenue and Carlyle Street. The victim is recovering at home after being treated at Battle Creek Health System and released.
